According to data from the General Administration of Customs on July 13, China exported 7.557 million tons of steel in June 2022, a decrease of 202,000 tons from the previous month, a year-on-year increase of 17.0%; the cumulative export of steel from January to June was 33.461 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.5%.

In June, China imported 791,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 15,000 tons from the previous month, and a year-on-year decrease of 36.7%; the cumulative imported steel from January to June was 5.771 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 21.5%.

In June, China imported 88.969 million tons of iron ore and concentrates, a decrease of 3.548 million tons from the previous month, and a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%; from January to June, the cumulative import of iron ore and its concentrates was 535.748 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.4%.

In June, China imported 18.982 million tons of coal and lignite, a decrease of 1.567 million tons from the previous month, a year-on-year decrease of 33.1%; the cumulative import of coal and lignite from January to June was 115.001 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.5%.
